The 1997/98 Milan Long Away shirt tells a distinctive chapter in Rossoneri history, marked by Fabio Capello's return to the club's dugout. After the great triumphs of previous years, Milan went through a period of renewal, with experienced players such as Paolo Maldini, Alessandro Costacurta, Demetrio Albertini, and Zvonimir Boban joined by new talents such as Patrick Kluivert, Leonardo, and Ibrahim Ba. The team finished tenth in Serie A, but reached the Coppa Italia final against Lazio. A challenging season that remains part of Milan's rich footballing tradition.
The design of the 1997/98 Milan Away long-sleeved shirt features a white base enhanced with black vertical inserts in a distinctive fine-striped pattern. Red trim along the side panels, sleeves with matching details, and a light-colored collar with contrasting finishes create an original look.
